I am often inspired by the fact that Denise Levertov sent her poems to T.S. Eliot, when she was 12, and that he wrote back and thought she showed great promise -- which, of course, she realized (click the photo for a sharper pop-up version).
I think the poem of hers that I love most of all is "The Metier of Blossoming."
